OuagaNet is a 501-c-3 grassroot nonprofit mission-based organization which operates in rural areas of Burkina Faso, a poor country in West Africa. All our associates are benevolent people who lend their skills, expertise, and time to help fight extreme poverty in rural areas of Burkina Faso. Our approach consists of empowering the local villagers by providing them with the means to fight extreme poverty (goats to raise, seeds for gardening and farming, trees plants, clean water wells, basic school supplies, first aid kits and medicine, etc. Our approach consists of implementing projects and providing feedback to our supporters in the form of videos and photos for every realization. We want our supporters to clearly see the impact of their actions whether it’s a donation of secondhand clothing, medicine, purchasing goats for women, providing seeds, etc. We believe that extreme poverty is a society problem and it’s when people come together, heart to heart and hand to hand with a sense of love and compassion that we can effectively tackle extreme poverty by empowering the people with the tools for becoming self-sufficient.
